Baby Adrie's first quilt

Baby Adrie is already spoiled. I picked out the colors brown and turquiose for the baby's room and was able to find a bunch of cute material for a quilt. So I loaded up all of the fabric, satin, thread, and batting and hauled it over to Janelle's house. It kept her busy for a while and then she was on to her next project. The quilt turned out perfect and I can't wait for Adrie to drool and spit up on it. Big thanks to Janelle for this special gift, it would have never been made without you. I just love it.

Belly Pics

Alright I think that I am getting the hang of this. Thanks to my friend Janelle. What would I do without her. These are my belly pics from 11 weeks until 29 weeks which was taken today. My how the time has flown and how the pounds have accumulated. I am getting more and more anxious for the day to come were I can hold my little one for the very first time, but for now I enjoy every powerful kick and love to watch Conan's face light up when he feels her kick.

I created a Slide Show! Check it out!

Doin' the daddy thing!

Today, Conan and I rearranged the spare room and our room to make room for Baby Adrie. Here is a slide show of Conan hard at work doing the daddy thing. Conan's mom bought us this crib from a yard sale and with a little spit and elbow grease it cleaned up pretty nice. There is no mattress yet though because I had to draw the line. Besides, it had a spring poking out. Regardless, we are blessed to have it and thankful that we did not have to buy one brand new.

Baby Adrie

Here's Baby Adrie. This ultrasound was taken when I was 18 weeks pregnant. We think she'll be a thumb sucker. Both her daddy and I were so it is very possible. Isn't she too cute. She's much bigger than this now considering I am now 281/2 weeks along. Not much longer to go. I can't wait.
