I Gotta Go

Adrie loves to play in her special rocking chair. So I thought I'd record her climbing in and out and being silly, but part way through she had to go. Such a big girl.

Super Blanky Dancin' Girl

Adrie was a little late learning to dance. She actually (I believe) learned just after her cousin Maddi visited from South Carolina in December. Adrie has always loved music, but has never really danced. When Maddi was here she would rock out to any song ABC, you name it and Maddi would be dancing. So shortly after that visit Adrie started to awkwardly move to music. And I mean awkward. She now has her own special moves and loves to wiggle those hips. Thanks Maddi for the lesson in dance. Go A! We got a blanky book from the library and there is a part where the little boy is wearing his blanky like a cape so we thought we would try she thought it was silly.

Snow Angel

We had about 3 inches of snow fall last night and Adrie got to play for like 5 minutes. This morning she woke up with a runny nose. GREAT!!!

Bath in the Sink

Adrie gets so messy after she eats that it is more work to wipe her down than it is to just throw her in the sink and rinse her off. We even used the hand held squirter. She loved it.

Blanky and the Belly Button

So the other day I had to wash Adrie's blanket because it was black it was so dirty. She couldn't stand it being in there and watched it go round n' round until it came out and cried at the washer the entire time. We were able to distract her for about a minute by asking her where her belly button was. Such a fun game.

Grammy's Little Helper

So my mom can't wait for Adrie to get older so that she can help her in the kitchen. She decided that Adrie was ready the other day and she did pretty well. Standing on the chair made me nervous, but she held her own and thankfully never fell off.

Fun at the Park

There was one day this winter that the sun decided to show it's face. So we decided to take advantage and go to the park one afternoon. It was still freezing, but Adrie didn't care. She cried when we left. She loved to roam around the park and swing and slide. We can't wait for the spring to take her more often

13 Months

Since I no longer take the chair pics of Adrie...kinda sad. I thought I'd blog on new things she is doing each month and post a cutie pic or video that shows a little of her personality. Here's what Adrie has been up to since she turned 1.
-Runs all over
-Eats with a spoon, practicing with a fork
-Goes potty on the "Big girl potty" and gets big eyed and giggles when she hears the tinkle.
-Says wow, yes, hot, eyes, dog, duck, cracker, snack, mama, dada, and her newest is grandma...of course it doesn't sound exactly like that, but close.
-Points to peoples eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
-Loves to sit on laps and read books flipping the pages herself.
-Loves bathtime and is obsessed with bubble baths. She even eats the bubbles.
-Has a "funny face" where she wrinkles her nose and squints her eyes. too funny.
-Still loves blanky, but carries around a silk binding.
-Still sucks her left thumb.
-Loves to swim.
-Loves to climb up and slide down the jungle gym at the nursery at the gym.
-Chases the big kids.
-Is very gentle...most of the time with babies.
-Loves dolls.
-Loves to stand on her rocking chair and flip the light switch on and off.
-Still gets a bottle at night, but sippy at naptime.
-Takes 1 long nap during the day...love it.
-Ate mud this month. It was off of someone's shoe and he owns a ranch. Don't go there!
-Loves the telephone.
-Has 8 teeth.
-Loves to say woof, quack and ssssssssssss..with a lisp.
That's all I can think of now. I'm sure I am missing something. She learns something new everyday.

Blog Update

Aaaahhhhh! Finally some change. I've been waiting for some time and patience to do some template changes to the blog. I wanted to get away from all that brown and turquoise I've been obsessed with over the last year. So pink yellow and white it is. I think I'm ready for spring already and winter isn't even close to over. Oh, well. I've been spending a lot of time on Photoshop the last couple of days and thought there were times I wanted to chuck my computer out the window, I think I'm getting the hang of it. These things don't come easy to me....unlike some people. Anyhow, here is my new header. Adrie was playing with my sunglasses yesterday and I couldn't help but take a snapshot of her. I only wish she would have been smiling. Well I hope you like Fisher Fam's new look.

Bubbles Bubbles Everywhere

Okay so I know this is a super long video, but Adrie loves bubbles and is too cute in it.

Welcome Baby Bragen!

He's absolutely perfect. Couldn't possibly get much cuter. He's Bragen Robert Anderson and he's here to stay. Congratulations to our friends Arlee and Brody for having such a beautiful baby boy. I can't wait to watch him grow. He was born on January 4th at 5:11am and weighed in at 7 lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long. He has NO chubbys yet, but they will come. He looks long and wrinkley and is fun to kiss on. I love him so much already. More pics to come. You can also check Arlee's blog http://www.brodyarlee.blogspot.com.

Heyyo?

So I didn't quite capture what I wanted, but you get the idea. Adrie loves "talking" on the phone. She walks around with the phone craddled between her cheek and shoulder and shouts and whispers baby jabber to Lord knows who. Sometimes I think she's mocking me.

Tea Time!

Tea for 2...2 for tea. Adrie got her first tea set from her Uncle Guy and Aunt Judy. She loves playing pretend and has even taken her tea pot in the bath tub.

Adrie's 2nd Christmas

This Christmas was so much fun for Adrie. She didn't really like opening presents, but she sure liked playing with all of her new fun toys.
