Supersaucer
Just another supersaucer video to show all how much she...we love it. She is now able to stand up and reach for toys. She's so big.
Funny Talk
Adrie's new form of communication is so cute. She's a squeeler. She just started this weekend while I was working and she was home with Conan. It's funny just how much she can change. I feel like everyday I come home from work that she has grown and changed so much. What a blessing it is for her to be able to spend that time with Conan.
Sitting Pretty
Yes, Adrie is in the early stages of sitting on her own. How exciting it is to watch her grow.
One Tough Girly!
This girl is tough. She got her shots last Wednsday and barely made a peek. She only cried when I put her in her carseat, which she always does. She was smiling at the nurse and had not a care in the world. I on the other hand was a nervous wreck. I almost cried again. I did better than when she got her first shots though. Next time should be a breeze for both of us. She had a low grade temp again and slept for like 2 days straight. Other than that the shots were not big deal. Feeeeewwwww!

4 Month Chair Pics
Here's Adrie in her Easter/Blessing dress. She is now 4 months old and growing so fast. All she wanted to do during this photo shoot was eat her dress. Too cute.

Adrie at Gma and Gpa Fisher's
Here's a slide of Adrie over at Gma and Gpa Fisher's. She loved her pack n play that they bought for the grandkids. She would lay under the mobile and smile and coo. We also sat her up in the corner and she would hug on her kitty bear. BTW Kitty Bear is neither a kitty nor a bear, she's a lamb. Conan and I argued about whether she was a kitty or a bear for about a week before we started calling her kitty bear then my 6 year old cousin grabbed it and said, "What a cute little lamb". Of course she's a lamb, why didn't we see that. Anyhow, Adrie also had fun playing spoons with Grandma Carol and Uncle Curtis.

She's Rollie Pollie Ollie
Finally caught Adrie rolling over on camera. It's taken almost a month to do so. She only does it when and if she wants and has the energy to. She would much rather crawl already. Such a strong girl.
This is fun
Got this off of Carly's blog. Most things it says about me are right on and some not so much. I never really thought of myself as a wild cat. Hee hee.

Shelby's baby shower

My mom and I threw my sister Shelby a baby shower while Conan and I were home for spring break. It was a baseball theme because they are huge Red Sox fans. We got her a cute baseball bean bag and a onesie that says automatic sprinkler on it. Yes for those of you who don't know she is having a boy. They only boy out of the 4 babies born in our family since December. Of course he won't be here until June. Just when Adrie will be big enough to start picking on him. Shelby got tons of stuff and had a great time. She even got Placenta Bear which my mom used in our cribs when we were babies. She also got those fun toys that you can make chains out of. My cousin Summer, Shelby and I used to make them suck to our cheeks and have old photos of us doing so. I'll have to find and blog those, but for now we took an updated pic of us with the toys sucked to our cheeks. Too funny!
Hemphill Family Est. March 24, 2007
Colin and Lacey finally tied the knot. Conan, Adrie and I flew home to join in the celebration. Conan was the best man. We enjoyed the wedding very much. Her colors were bright pink and green and robin egg blue. Very pretty and springy. Her theme was kinda cowgirlish. She decorated with saddles and laso ropes (or whatever you call those things) and flowers at the wedding and then had cute wheat jar table decorations at the reception. She planned and put together the entire wedding herself. I'm sure she is glad that it is over. She was beautiful in her white dress with pink sash and pink fat baby cowgirl boots. As for Colin, he looked handsome in his tux with pink vest and tie. All he really had to do was show up and look good. The two appeared to be enjoying themselves and look very happy together. Can't wait for there to be a little Hemphill running around. Congratulations you two. Love you bunches.
Biggest Badest Supersaucer Ever!

Adrie loves her new supersaucer. We got the most expensive one at Babies 'r' us, but it is the coolest. It works in 3 stages. One when they are tiny that they can lay under and the supersaucer stage then it opens up into a table that they can stand at. Too cool. Plus it gives me some free time while she self entertains. Yes!
Johnny Jumper
Adrie was spoiled with early Easter presents. She got a Johnny Jumper and a super saucer (will post video and pics). She is too cute with her new toys. It is amazing how much she is growning and learning.
Boppie time
Adrie is growing so fast and has many new tricks. She is getting stronger and stronger and will soon be sitting up on her own. She rolls now, but only when she feels like it and I have been unsuccessful in getting it on camera. Someday you'll see her roll. She already tries to get up on her knees to crawl. Crazy!
Adrie's first cerel experience
At 3 and a half months Conan and I decided to try cerel to see if Adrie would stay fuller longer being that she is breast feeding every 2 hours still. She did well the first time we fed it to her and the after that she hasn't liked it much. She has grown pretty partial to formula during the day and breast feeding at night. I think she may be trying to wean herself.
Maddi's Quilt
I was finally able to finish my sister in-law Kristin's daughter Maddi's quilt. Did that make sense? It was interesting fabric to work with and I probably should have picked an easier fabric to work with for my first quilt, but it all turned out in the end. It took me like 2 months to finish because my sewing machine kept pooping out and I had to borrow Janelle's. I also had to make that unexpected trip home for Papa's funeral. The day I finished it I sent it and was glad to see it go. Kristin said that she loves it and that it matches Maddi's colors in her room well. On to the next project. Megan's quilt. My other sister in-law's baby. This one will be brown and pink. First things first. I need to get my machine fixed or just get a new one. Any ideas on where I can get a 30 year old Singer machine tuned up?
