We bought Adrie a new toy yesterday. Her other toys are either too big or we have to shake them for her. This one is just right and she loves it. She will play down there for a while. This morning she let me clean the house while she played. It was so nice.

Papa Update #1
Last night Papa was moved to the intensive care unit because his heart rate went up into the 200s during an xray. He was monitored through the night and is doing better this morning. His heart rate is down in the 120-130 range and his blood pressure which had been really low is still low, but more stable. He will be seen by a cardiologist today and he will determine whether or not papa can go back to the medical floor. He will probably stay in the hospital for a while until they get him rehydrated and back on his feet. He finished his round of chemo last Wednesday so hopefully he won't have to start another for a while so that he can get some strength back. We'll see I'm not sure how the chemo stuff works. I chatted with him on the phone this morning and was bitting back tears as I listened to his raspy voice. He got me to smile and even giggle a little because he is still his ornery self. I love you papa. Thanks for all of your prayers and please continue to pray. Oh, my other grandpa, Grandpa Sam is also having a hard time. He is having some heart problems. Please pray for him as well. God bless.

Finger sucker
Last night Conan and I went to one of our friend's engagement party and Adrie cried half the time. We were totally stressed out, but by the time we got in the car she found her fingers and was sucking away. When we got home she sat in her carseat for about 10 minutes and was content with her fingers in her mouth. Funny Girl.
Giggles the Ducky
Adrie's Grandma Shelly (my mom) sent her this cute little giggling ducky. You can't help but laugh along with it. Adrie wasn't sure what to think however. The first time I showed it to her her bottom lip puckered out and after that she just stared at it. Too cute.
Please Pray
Please pray for my Grandpa Bert. He was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and has been receiving chemo treatments for about one month. He has been in and out of the hospital and is now on his second admission to the hospital in less than a week. He is very weak and has been losing a lot of weight. Please just pray for his health and comfort as well. My Grandma Bunnie could use a little prayer too for strength during this hard time. Thanks a bunch. I love you Gram and Papa.

And the family grows and grows!
I'm not sure if I have shared this info yet. My sister in-law Kristin and her husband David just welcomed little Madison Michelle into their fam. She was 7lb 7oz, 2o 1/2 inches long with a head full of dark hair. They are so happy to have her and she is an angel of a baby. I can't wait to meet her. Next up is my brother in-law Curtis and his wife Teddi. They will be welcoming Megan Michelle into the fam in April or at the end of March. We shall see. Hang in there Teddi. Then there is my sister Shelby. She is about 21-22 weeks along now and just found out she is having a boy. Hallelujah!! One boy and three girls. I'm so excited to have a nephew. And of course I'll be his favorite aunt because I'll be his ONLY aunt. I can't wait. Yeah for babies!!!

Chunky Monkey
Adrie turned 2 months yesterday and her 2 month check up was today. She is 12 lbs 7 oz, 23 inches long and her head is 39.75 cm. She is in the 90th percentile for weight and head circumference and is in the 75th percentile for length. She also had her 2 month immunizations today and let's just say she handled it better than I did. I was a wreck all afternoon before we even got to her appointment. I was crying and very nervous because we weren't sure we wanted to immunize her now or in a couple of months. Once we got there and decided to go ahead and start her immunizations I was fine. I was able to hold her down and everything. I didn't cry there, but now have the worst tension headache ever. My head, jaw, neck and shoulder are killing me from being so stressed out. Adrie did really well and has three bandaids two on her left leg and one on her right. She cried a little bit at first then was over it in seconds. I was shocked, I though for sure I wouldn't be able to console her. She's so tough. She's also progressing normal for a 2 month old. She is smiling like crazy, cooing, grasping, starting to laugh, sleeping okay (in my opinion, not as well as I would like her to be) and eating well. All in all she is very healthy. Now let's hope for no adverse reaction from her shots and a good nights sleep tonight.

The Me Quiz
Take this quiz and see how well you know me. I think it may be too easy, but I only had so much time to make it before Adrie woke up from her nap. Have fun and good luck! http://www.testriffic.com/friendtest/2105548

Sleepy Girl
The other night Adrie was sleeping so hard I had a hard time waking her up. I thought for sure she would never go back to sleep that night.
Sleepy Time

This morning Adrie wore herself out playing with her toys and vacuuming with me. I went to change her bum and try to keep her up for another 30 minutes, but it was no use she was out. So I let her sleep while I showered and an now blogging. The bathroom fan is my friend. She has always been her calmest in the bathroom. Too funny.
Colts win the super bowl!!!!!
To celebrate the super bowl the Bradfords came over to watch the game and pig out with us yesterday. The girls had fun loving on Adrie, watching a movie and as you can see playing in the entertainment center. Unfortunately, London had fallen ill and had to go to the hospital until she could have another sugar cookie. Then she was all better. The boys barely moved from the couch and as the night went on neither did Janelle and I. The girls had free reign and none of us cared. Adrie had a good night and loved watching London and Sydney play. It's a good thing the colts won because it makes the extra pounds of weight gain from junk food worth it. It was good to see such a great team win. Not only did Coach Dungee make history because of his ethnic back ground, but he is also a devout Christian. It was neat being able to watch him give all the glory to God for their win. Hope you all had a good super bowl.
