Pumpkin Carving Contest
Every year my aunt and uncle have a pumpkin carving contest and every year I lose. This year I drew my own pattern of a butterfly and it didn't quite turn out as I had imagined it. In fact I cut a very crucial part out and had to do the good ol' toothpick repair. I even ended up gouging myself with one of the toothpicks under my fingernail and it was sore for a week afterward. Better luck next year. The winner was my little cousin Derek who cut out Captin Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp even looks good as a pumpkin...Yum!

I Love The Fall
There is one great thing about this area. The colors in the fall are beautiful. I love the colors of the leaves in these trees. It only stays that way for a short while before the leaves fall of and the trees grow bare. But that's when we get to rake 'em up and jump in them. Adrie enjoyed the leaves this fall.
My First Piggys
Adrie's hair is so thin and fine and blonde. It is hard to get any barrets to stay in and she pulls headbands off anymore so I tried the piggys. They looked so cute, but I felt bad that they were so tight on her head and they haven't gone back in. So we'll just have to suffer with people mistaking her for a boy for a little bit longer. Boo!

The Big Move
Here are some pics of our big move. It was somewhat uneventful thank goodness. Of course that was in September and it is now November and with Adrie running me ragged I can barely remember the trip to Oregon. Dad drove from Pendleton, OR to Las Vegas to get the trailer and brought it to good ol' San Jose. He helped us pack up took a little snooze and was off again. The rest of us loaded up and headed for Kalamath, OR for our over night stay. It was good to see some of our friends and to get a good nights rest before we were off and running again. I think it took us about 15 hours or so total. With a 9 month old that isn't half bad. She slept a lot. She took a while to re-adjust after the move and had a tough time sleeping in her new room. But it wasn't long before she was warmed up to every one and right at home.

Just an Update....GRRRRRRRRR!
Okay so just to let you all know I have been trying to get internet hooked up and can't seem to get anything done FAST in this poe-dunk (Sp?) town. I thought I'd have it all hooked up and ready to go on Friday, but it didn't work out and now I'm having to wait for another month. I may just start blogging at my friends house just to get something done. It's true I can live without blogging, but not very happily. Here is an update on Adrie. SHE'S HUGE!!! She just turned 11 months and has been walking all over for about 2 weeks. She says "Yes", "Uh-oh", "Gog" (DOG), "Mama", "Da-da", and "Oooohhhhh". She throughs the meanest tantrums which is nothing new. Soon she will be getting her "naughty spot" which is a little green rug in the corner for when she acts up....which is all day. My poor child will be spending half of her little life in time-out. Sad but true. So naughty. She is a good girl don't get me wrong she's just very strong willed and doesn't like to be told no. Hmmmm I wonder where she gets that...Beats me. Oh, another thing she does is throw her hands in the air when she is done eating. It's funny and very helpful. I tried to teach her the sigh for "all done" and that's what I got. Well, I hope all of you are doing well and aren't giving up on my. We'll be back in California for Conan's graduation at the end of the month. Unless you are over at the Bradford's, I probably won't see you cause that's where I'll be for sure. YES!!!
