...For the Red, White and Blue!

We are headed back home for a visit at the beginning of July and are excited to get all of the cousins together for a cutie pic. Can't wait. We decided to go with a red, white and blue theme since we are getting their pics taken on the 5th of July. Very exciting. From top to bottom. Adrie, Madison, Megan, and Tugg. These are the cutie outfits they will be wearing. How fun!

More...Pretty Peas!

Adrienne loves peas. She has been eating oatmeal for a while now and we decided to try making our own baby food for her to try. We decided to try peas first and she ate them like there was no tomorrow. They are the hardest to blend, but the "Magic Bullet" seems to do an okay job.

Welcome Home Daddy!

Just a little update to let you all know that Conan has been home since the 19th which was our 3rd anniversary, Adrie's 6 month appt and Tugg's birthday. A big thanks to Conan's mom Carol for all of her help. Welcome home Conan.

Chunky Monkey

Introducing Tugg Zander McQuinn my very first nephew!!! Yeah. Finally he is here after 4 plus hours of pushing. He was 8lbs 5oz, 19 inches long. He had to get vacuumed out because of the size of his noggin 13-14 inches. I think he was stuck because his cheeks are so chubby. What a cutie. I can't wait to smother him with my kisses. Ohhhhh! I love you cutie baby. Congrats to Shelby and Bryan. No meds or anything....she even had pitocin. Eewww! See you all soon.

Want the Good News or the Bad News?

Look out world!!! Tugg Zander McQuinn is about to enter this world. My sister Shelby's water just broke. Well, I just heard about it anyhow. I spoke with her and she is cool as a cucumber. I told her husband Bryan to get a bucket ready to catch this kid because Shelby has been dilated to a 5 or better for 2 weeks. They are waiting for my mom to get to their house and then will head to the hospital. How exciting is it that my first and only nephew is going to be born on my anniversary. This is very happy news for my being that the last few days have been challenging. Conan has been in the hospital with what the docs think is a virus of the heart muscle. We went in on Sunday morning because he complained of chest pain and after an EKG, Echocardiogram and Angiogram (all normal mind you) he has been on telemetry ever since. He is very ready to come home and Adrie and I have been missing him so much. It would be the best anniversary gift ever if he got to come home today. Please pray for Shelby, Tugg and Conan that they all get through the day and will be healthy and strong and blessed.

Wow, has it been 3 years already. Time flies! It's hard to imagine that 3 years ago we were just newlywed and on our way to California for big changes with you starting school and me my nursing career. A lot has happened in the last 3 years. The biggest and most special change has been of coarse Adrie. There are days when I still can't believe that we are parents. I feel so blessed that I am able to share that experience with you. I look forward to future changes and suprises to share together. I love you.

6 Month Chair Pics

Adrie is already 1/2 a year old. My how the time flies. We can't believe she is so big. So I tried to take some pics of her and had bad lighting, but they turned out okay. It's a good thing she is so photogenic otherwise the pics wouldn't look as good. I'll get my camera figured out sooner or later.

We bought Adrie her very first toothbrush the other day since she has her first teeth. She loved it as you can see in the video and only gagged herself once.

Adrie at 3 Months

Adrie is almost 6 months old and I was getting ready to make her appointment to get her pics taken when I ran acrossed her 3 month pics. My how she has changed. I can't believe how fast she grows. It seems like she is doing something new just about every day. She is too cute. It makes me feel like she isn't a baby anymore and naturally has me thinking about baby #2. Don't worry that's still a long way off if we can help it. Just thought you all would like to see some of the pics we took. I'll try to post her new ones soon.
