The babies room is far from finished, but the crib is up and the bedding is done. All thanks to my friend Janelle who slaved night and day sewing like a feind to finish Adrie's beautiful quilt, crib skirt, and rocker cushion covers. Thank you so much Janelle, I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, caring, and creative friend.

Cutie Girlies
Lundi and Syd think Baby Adrie's bed is pretty cool. They like to play in her room and with the toys she has already accumulated. Now that the crib is up and the bedding is all finished thanks to their mommy Janelle, Syd has already snuggled up to take a nap with baby Adrie's quilt and lambies. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of Syd snoozing, but I'm sure you all know it was too cute.

Fam Photo Op

While home for the baby shower we figured now was a good time to take our family photo for the holidays. For those of you who don't know the fam. Starting from the left is my sister and her husband Bryan and Shelby. Then there is Conan and I. Dad (Temby) and mom (Shelly) are in the middle and then my lil' bro T.J. and his wife Erin are sitting on the floor. Cute huh.

Grandma Knopp

While we were home I was able to visit Conan's grandmother on his mother's side Grandma Carol. She has been recovering from a recent stroke at the nursing home, but is doing much better. We were able to stay and visit and she enjoyed the company. She gave me a gift for Adrie and I loved it. She enjoyed watching me open it. She can't wait for all three of her great grandchildren to come into the world.
Fav gifts

All of the gifts from the shower were wonderful and surprisingly we were able to get it all back to California relatively easily. I did however have a couple of favorites. The christmas outfit was from Grandma Knopp on Conan's side and she was able to watch me open it which was a blessing. The other was the pink cowgirl boots. Of course Adrie won't be able to wear them for another year, but they will fit just in time for Round up. Too Cute!
Jay's first baby shower
My first shower was at the end of September and Conan and I were able to make it home to Pendleton, Oregon for fun times with family and friends. The visit was too short considering I hadn't seen anyone since February. My mom, sister and mother in-law put on the party for me and it was so great. The house was bursting at the seems with family and friends all there for baby Adrie. I felt so blessed and so loved. I've said it before and I'll say it again...this child is already so spoiled.

The Preggie Bunch
Conan and I were able to go home to visit for a week during his fall break before 9th quarter. We were so excited that Kristin and David were able to come home as well. Here is the pregnant bunch. I found out that I was pregnant and then 8 weeks later Kristin called with the happy news and another 8 weeks later Teddi called and is pregnant as well. We can't blame it on the water because all three of us live in different states. We are very excited to be able to have little cousins so close together. From left to right is Conan and I, Teddi and Curtis, and Kristin and David. Conan, Curtis and Kristin are siblings and the rest of us are the in-laws. What a wonderful family to be a part of. Pretty soon gram and gramps are going to be in baby heaven. YEAH!
