Potty Training

On the 13th we started to potty train. Of course I just wanted to see how Adrie would do and never expected her to do this well. I didn't push her by any means and if she would have hated it then I would have tried again later, but she took right too it. After 6 days she had filled her potty chart which has 36 boxes for stickers we took her to the dollar store yesterday and let her pick out a stuffed kitty. She loves to meow like a kitty. This morning Adrie ran into the dining room and was saying "sticko, sticko" (sticker) so I asked her if she needed to go potty and she ran to the bathroom. She went pee and pooh and got two stickers one for her chart and one for her shirt for telling me she had to go. I didn't expect that for another few months or so since she isn't really talking much. She tells us in her own subtle ways and if we miss it it is our fault. Last night my mom was giving her a bath because I as sick on the couch and mom said Adrie stood up in the bath and pointed to her sticker chart. Well mom didn't get it soon enough and Adrie peed standing up in the tub. If only we spoke her language. Such a big girl.

Happy Late Valentine's Day

We took Adrie to The RAC (our gym) to decorate cookies for Valentine's day. My mom works there so once we got there she took over and the kids got to decorate cookies with Grammy. Which I thought would be perfect because then I could take pics. Well, I couldn't get a good smily pic of A to save my life. She hated the camera and just wanted more sugar. She was crazy the rest of the night. Can you say SUGAR HIGH. Yeah. On Valentine's day she got a dragon from Grammy that sings and flutters it's wings her name is Berniece and Adrie loves her.

Snow Slide

My mom and brother got bord on superbowl sunday and decided to play with Adrie in the snow. The 20 minute time limit I set for Adrie being outside turned into 45 minutes. The next day she broke a fever of 102. Come to find out she was teething again. Stinking molars.

14.5 Crazy Months Old

So so sorry for slacking on the blog, but you must understand the Fisher household has been crazy lately. I started work on the 8th of January which was very busy and stressful. Then Conan opened his practice on the 1st of February. Then Adrie spiked a temp of 102+ for 2 days with no symptoms, come to find out she got in 2 top molars one on each side. Then the entire household mom, dad, Conan, and Adrie were all sick with respiratory infections and I thought I was going to overdose myself on Emergen-C. Luckily I never got sick...at that time anyhow. Then this last weekend Adrie started in with diarrhea....grrrrr. And I ended up with nausea and vomiting yesterday. Oh, yeah and we are potty training. Which is going very well. So needless to say I have been super busy disinfecting my house multiple times per day, working, being mommy, being nurse at home and work, and haven't had time to blog, or anything else for that matter. Deep breath.....so here are just a few things Adrie has been up to. She's crazy fun and I love her more and more everyday if that is possible.
-pottytraining since 02/13 and has filled up one potty chart so far.
-Says sticko (Sticker), oh no, up...down.
-Loves to sing rockabye baby and cradles her arms and rocks while we sing.
-Love "Jesus Loves Me"
-Eats with a spoon and a fork
-Runs
-Loves swimming in the bath.
-Still loves blanky and talking on the phone.
-Loves Barney
-Loves to play with my stethoscope, flash cards, and loves to read.
Im sure there is much more that she does, but I only have so much time to blog. I'm on countdown until she wakes up from her nap.
