Potty Training

On the 13th we started to potty train. Of course I just wanted to see how Adrie would do and never expected her to do this well. I didn't push her by any means and if she would have hated it then I would have tried again later, but she took right too it. After 6 days she had filled her potty chart which has 36 boxes for stickers we took her to the dollar store yesterday and let her pick out a stuffed kitty. She loves to meow like a kitty. This morning Adrie ran into the dining room and was saying "sticko, sticko" (sticker) so I asked her if she needed to go potty and she ran to the bathroom. She went pee and pooh and got two stickers one for her chart and one for her shirt for telling me she had to go. I didn't expect that for another few months or so since she isn't really talking much. She tells us in her own subtle ways and if we miss it it is our fault. Last night my mom was giving her a bath because I as sick on the couch and mom said Adrie stood up in the bath and pointed to her sticker chart. Well mom didn't get it soon enough and Adrie peed standing up in the tub. If only we spoke her language. Such a big girl.

If only more parents took the time to help their kids love the potty we wouldn't have three year olds walking around in diapers. I think Audrey's age is the perfect time to get seriouse. Good job mamma Jay. I love it!!!!! She is so cute

She is such a multi-tasker, reading and going potty at the same time. Keep up the good work, Adrie!
